"Controller Design with Real Parametric Uncertainty"
A number of techniques have been developed in recent years for the analysis and design of controllers which are robust with respect to structured complex uncertainty. In particular the complex p synthesis procedure has been successfully applied to a number of engineering problems. However the presence of real parametric uncertainty in the problem description substantially complicates matters, s...
متن کاملExtended State Observer for Nonlinear Systems with Uncertainty
Abstract: The extended state observer first proposed by Jingqing Han in [J. Q. Han, The extended state observer for a class of uncertain systems, Control and Decision, 10(1)(1995), 85-88] is the main interim loop of active disturbance rejection control that is taking off as a technology after numerous successful applications in engineering. Unfortunately, there is no a rigorous proof of converg...
متن کاملNonlinear Observer Design for Smooth Systems∗
Recently Kazantzis-Kravaris and Kreisselmeier-Engel have suggested two apparently different approaches to constructing observers for nonlinear systems. We show that these approaches are closely related and lead to observers with linear error dynamics in transformed variables. In particular we give sufficient conditions for the existence of smooth solutions to the Kazantzis-Kravaris PDE.
متن کاملOn observer design for nonlinear systems
The main weakness of all control methodologies is the dependency of feedbacks to full state measurements. In practical situations, measuring the states of a given system may fail because sometimes the measurements are impossible and sometimes, possible, but too expensive. Observer design for highly nonlinear dynamics is an important issue, particularly when the locally observable dynamics are n...
متن کاملNonlinear Observer Design for Mechanical Systems
This paper investigates the nonlinear observer design for mechanical systems, viz. nonlinear pendulum systems, undamped oscillators and Lienard systems. Explicitly, Sundarapandian’s Theorem (2002) for observer design for nonlinear systems is used to solve the problem of local exponential observer design for nonlinear pendulum systems, undamped oscillators and Lienard systems. Numerical examples...
